Unbreakable Bonds is being posted on PhoenixSong.net! Many thanks to Iviolinist (my beta) for coming out of retirement just to post this for me.
Another story, A Walk in the Grounds, which is brand new, was also just posted on PhoenixSong! Again, many thanks to Ivy for her help in getting this posted.

Unbreakable Bonds is now edited and done, though with the retirement of Iviolinist (sadly), it has only been edited by myself and family. The process has taken over a year and I hope the result is worth it. The PDF file is the most up-to-date, so read that one to get the best editing!

The editing process has started. Right now the story with with my alpha, aka Mom, and then it will go to the fabulous Iviolinist for beta'ing. Eventually it should end up on PhoenixSong but it might take a while - months.

Yee-hah!!! I'm done! Done, done, done. Unbreakable bonds is now officially finished. Of course there's the major editing process which now has to take place but the story is finally written. If you want to see it, check out the PDF of the whole story.

I'm about halfway through writing chapter 13. I know, I've been slacking on it. I wish it was a bout of writer's block but sadly I've just not felt like writing lately even though I'm so close to the end. Still, over the last week or so I've made some good progress and I'm feeling that itch to write again. Hopefully in the next month or two I'll finish. Of course, then the editing process begins...

A Cat's Comfort, my newest one-shot, is now posted. It'll be up on PhoenixSong shortly. I've started chapter 12 of UB and I'm about a third done with it. It seems to be growing beyond what I expected, so the whole thing may go one more chapter than I intended.

Well it's now a month into the new year and I've finally finished chapter 11 of "Unbreakable Bonds"! The outline is done for chapter 12 while chapter 13, the last chapter, is still in my head. After news of the release date for Book 7, I seem to have lost my gumption to work on this story. I suppose I'll finish it but it may not be posted anywhere other than here.
(I have to admit that seeing the dates below and how long it took to write chapter 11, I suddenly want to get started on chapter 12!)

Chapter 11 is about 1/3 done. Perhaps if things go really well I'll have it finished by Christmas. On a positive note, all four chapters of "Two Nights in the Garden" should be up on Checkmated very soon!

Okay, so I'm pathetic and I haven't finished chapter 10 yet. It's about three-quarters done but due to a heafty dose of real life lately it probably won't be done for another few weeks. On a positive note, "A New and Glorious Morning" was the story of the week on PhoenixSong the week of September 11. Thanks to everyone who reviewed!

Okay, so my beta went on vacation for two weeks and didn't have
a chance to upload anything to PhoenixSong yet, but it should happen
in the next week or so. In addition to "A New and Glorious
Morning" you should also be seeing a VERY much cleaned up version
of "Two Night in the Garden".
Updated "Unbreakable Bonds" with chapter 9.

I finally have a beta for PhoenixSong! Perfect Imagination hooked me up with Iviolinist, who is arguably one of the world's best betas! I can't thank her enough for the help she's giving me, especially for her hatred of commas. Er, not that I overuse commas at all...
Anyway, she's fantastic and you should all be seeing a cleaned up version of "A New and Glorious Morning" on PS sometime in early August.
I also added a few more stories to my "favorites" page. Go and check them out.
